So my tablet's stylist broke sometime between Christmas break and Spring Break last semmester. Because of this I'm thinking about opening up commissions. If enough people would be willing to commission me I'll take commissions. I'm still thinking about this so I'm not putting any numbers up, but some positive feedback would really help me make a dessision.

So earlier this week I found out that one of the pieces I had submitted for the student show at my college was selected to be displayed! I'm so proud of myself! :) :w00t: here's a link to the piece that was selected http://fav.me/d4fepi5 I'm so happy! -- In other news, classes have stared up for me again at college. It looks like it's going to be a fun semester.

Happy birthday! ^0^ :cake::iconcakeplz::cake: I wish you good luck and happiness! I hope you'd have a very nice day!

P.S. I miss you cuz we haven't talked to each other for a really long time. I have an examination session now, so it's also a really busy time for me.
thank you! I miss you too. My life has just gotten a little intense lately, i'm so sorry we haven't talked in so long. how have you been? how is school?
Heeey! I miss you sooo much! Although, I understand, my life also was a full of event, I even couldn't managed to write for my blog for a while.

I was working at the most readable in Moscow newspaper, and it was a great experience! I wrote 3 articles for them, and each of them was printed on the first page! I was so excited, the editor said I did really well and he suggest me to collaborate with them in future (it was an intership from university, we have to work at mass media every year in summer, but I chose the newspaper myself). Actually, I've already knew the chief editor, I interviewed him for the Channel One Russia in November. I was really pleased when he recognized me from the first glance.
The funny thing that I wanted to go to the culture department, but they sent me to the society and the city department. And you know, what? I was happy! My editor appeared to be very nice and attentive, and I really liked working with him.
Hm and as for the articles, (maybe, that would sound hilarious, but that's serious, really!) the first was about 'anti-panty' law in Russia that is actually not a law at all and is actually not 'anti-panty'. The point was to ban poor-quality synthetic underwear. And I was investigating that thing to make it clear. The second article was connected with Russian anti-smoking law: I was asking some people how they react that Moscow makes Arbat street the first smoking-free zone. And the last one was about summer fashion, better to say 'anti-fashion': I was making poll, asking people what irritates them in clothes of other people.

And I'm already on the second year of university. I realized that I haven't mistaken when I chose journalism to study.

Now I'm waiting for Comic Con Russia (2-5 Oct.), this is the first Comic Con they hold in Russia and I'm really excited. I won 2 tickets for the event at the quest by Russia comic company Bubble. That was so awesome event, I also get acquainted with owner of company and he gave me an autograph. The funny thing is, that my economics teacher told me on exam about this comic company and its owner and suggested me to contact with them and maybe try to work there. The owner was also a student of MSU Faculty of Journalism and he remembered economics teacher and said me, he's really amazing!
However, I'll give the tickets to my friends cuz I'm going there as a press member. But I'll be in the costume, anyway. In one day I'll be Princess Leia from Star Wars and another day I'll be Marvel's Loki.
Also there will be Misha Collins, my friend was soooo excited to see him, she thanked me sooo much when I promised her a ticket. She helped me at the quest. And also there will be David Lloyd. And a huge Star Wars panel... aaand I dunno, I was so waiting for Marvel panel, but they haven't announced it clearly!

So, how about you?
it sounds like things are going really good really good for you. Congratulations on getting your articles published! Thats awesome! How was the Convention? Did you have fun? I'm going to try to go to the Dallas Comic Con in June, I'm thinking about cosplaying but I don't know if I will have tie to get a costume together.

I'm in my last year of college and I will be graduating in may, so I'm really excited about that. I was a part of a collaborative art show with 7 other artists. and I'm preparing some more work to be entered into juried show at the end of the month. Other than that school has been getting more and more demanding since I am in my last year and I'm getting so close to graduating.
I'm not sure if you frequent this site, but I just wanted to awkwardly thank you for your lovely Eugene Onegin comics that I discovered a lotta years ago, probably when I was a freshman in high school. They got me interested in the book and in turn that got me interested in Russian literature. I'm a college freshman now, taking a Russian literature class that I absolutely adore, and we're currently finishing up Eugene Onegin. I thought it was kinda cool how your comics started something like that for me.

Thank you again!
Thank you for the :+fav: on my dragons' teeth!
