Heeey! I miss you sooo much! Although, I understand, my life also was a full of event, I even couldn't managed to write for my blog for a while.
I was working at the most readable in Moscow newspaper, and it was a great experience! I wrote 3 articles for them, and each of them was printed on the first page! I was so excited, the editor said I did really well and he suggest me to collaborate with them in future (it was an intership from university, we have to work at mass media every year in summer, but I chose the newspaper myself). Actually, I've already knew the chief editor, I interviewed him for the Channel One Russia in November. I was really pleased when he recognized me from the first glance.
The funny thing that I wanted to go to the culture department, but they sent me to the society and the city department. And you know, what? I was happy! My editor appeared to be very nice and attentive, and I really liked working with him.
Hm and as for the articles, (maybe, that would sound hilarious, but that's serious, really!) the first was about 'anti-panty' law in Russia that is actually not a law at all and is actually not 'anti-panty'. The point was to ban poor-quality synthetic underwear. And I was investigating that thing to make it clear. The second article was connected with Russian anti-smoking law: I was asking some people how they react that Moscow makes Arbat street the first smoking-free zone. And the last one was about summer fashion, better to say 'anti-fashion': I was making poll, asking people what irritates them in clothes of other people.
And I'm already on the second year of university. I realized that I haven't mistaken when I chose journalism to study.
Now I'm waiting for Comic Con Russia (2-5 Oct.), this is the first Comic Con they hold in Russia and I'm really excited. I won 2 tickets for the event at the quest by Russia comic company Bubble. That was so awesome event, I also get acquainted with owner of company and he gave me an autograph. The funny thing is, that my economics teacher told me on exam about this comic company and its owner and suggested me to contact with them and maybe try to work there. The owner was also a student of MSU Faculty of Journalism and he remembered economics teacher and said me, he's really amazing!
However, I'll give the tickets to my friends cuz I'm going there as a press member. But I'll be in the costume, anyway. In one day I'll be Princess Leia from Star Wars and another day I'll be Marvel's Loki.
Also there will be Misha Collins, my friend was soooo excited to see him, she thanked me sooo much when I promised her a ticket. She helped me at the quest. And also there will be David Lloyd. And a huge Star Wars panel... aaand I dunno, I was so waiting for Marvel panel, but they haven't announced it clearly!
So, how about you?
